Professional Experience

This page highlights a decade of hands-on work in marketing, communications, and program management across conservation, nonprofit, and community-based organizations. From building regenerative agriculture initiatives to leading statewide educational campaigns, each role reflects my commitment to connecting people through impactful storytelling and collaborative programming.

the nature conservancy

Led implementation of a new grant-funded program advancing Minnesota’s regenerative agriculture and natural climate solutions strategies through engagement with farmers, agriculture-sector leaders, conservation groups, and public and private partners. Created an extensive data and research-driven report tailored to be widely comprehendible and engaging to wide audiences. Incorporated interviews, collective group conversations, published journals, and ArcGIS findings.

Minnesota nursery & landscape association

Managed educational programs and certification processes for MNLA and state government requirements, organized 100+ educators for multiple annual conferences, facilitated industry networking groups, and served as staff liaison to key education and programming committees.

Owned and operated a successful small farm business for six years, managing year-round production, market research, sales, CSA logistics, and customer engagement. Led marketing, event coordination, floristry, and educational workshops to connect communities with sustainable agriculture and growing at every scale.

Coordinated educational programming and fostered stakeholder and partner relationships. Managed email, blog, and social media campaigns  by collaborating with warehouse, sales, transportation, logistics, and marketing teams to accurately represent products, events, and programs. Organized internal and external workshops, events, and meetings, including a large international bus tour highlighting leaders and innovators in regenerative agriculture. Managed intensive educational tracks for conferences and organized group travel logistics.

Coordinated citywide events including the farmers market, harvest festival, outdoor movie nights, and vintage car shows. Supported city rebranding efforts and managed social media channels to promote community engagement.
